Has anyone used any Clearasil products or any Clean & Clear? I want to know which one works better for acne, oily face, or blackheads. Has anyone used it or knows someone that has used it and has it work. Which one would u recommend?

Look for something with Benzoyl Peroxide. Start with a 5 percent, and move to 10 if you need to.

Forget those Jessica Simpson/Britney Spears products. They do work, but they're the SAME THING as what you can get at a local drug store, but they're waaaaay expensive. Don't waste your money, when you can get the same thing much cheaper and easier.

I've used Oxy10 with some success. Remember, nothing will totally remove all your acne forever, well, except maybe waiting until you get older. :) Even then, I know lots of folks into their 40s that still have acne... I don't think they use these products!

Don't worry so much about what you eat, that's pretty much a myth that if you eat chocolate (et cetera) you'll break out. Keep your face clean, and use the Oxy stuff, and you'll be fine.

Clean and Clear is 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, so it should work fairly well. Remember, no product is a total cure all...despite what the advertisers claim!!

I've used Clearsil...I ended up with a rash on my face. I did not use Clean & Clear ever. I found that many products have ingredients that are harsh on your skin (SLS, Quarternium, Alcohol) - which ended up causing me more skin problems.

In the end, I found Philosophy - Purity Made Simple to be gentle to my skin and with the use of an exfoliater every 3 days, it keeps my skin clear of acne and blackheads. It does cost more but you do use much less of it at a time. If you go to Sephora, they'll give a sample of it so you can use it for a few days and see how it works for you.

Clearasil is a little better of the two, Clean and Clear I was using twice a day and only getting oilier.
I've had my best results with the new Phisoderm body wash. Stridex shower gel-if you can find it- is good, too.

I had better luck with clean&clear but everyone is different it takes a lot of trial and error to find what works best for you. And drink LOTS of water(like 2 liters a day) and that will help TONS!
