I started my 2 year old on stage 2 food when he was 4 months old and could chew pretty well for his age at the time.....he had 4 teeth then to. every baby is different and honestly i think if you feel your baby is ready for stage 2 foods go ahead and try them out and if your babies body isn't ready for the food then constpation, gas, or vomiting will be signs of unreadiness. if the body is ready everything will be fine, from bowel movements to attitude!

Give meat when she has a few teeth to chew with or make sure that it's not stringy or you can use a food processor to make it smaller. Stage two foods you can probably start in anther month or so, or if you feel comfortable enough to give it to her, just watch closely so not to choke. With greens try giving her green beans that are not all mashed up but are cut like the Delmonte or something, my daughter loves those and will eat a whole can to herself.

I started my son ( 8 months) on stage 2 when he was 5 months old. He now dosen't like to eat baby food, just what we are eating. He will eat Sweet Potatos but that's about it. If she has teeth and knows how to chew I wouln't see any harm in giving her meat. My son eats a little bit of meat. Make sure she can't choke on it and watch her very carefully the first time you give it to her if you decide to.

Not so sure about the meat but as far as the veggies, try mixing about half a jar of roasted chicken and have a jar of like carrotts together. If she's on cereal you can add a little bit of that with some formula too... Try covering up the veggie taste and that should do the trick...

there is incredibly no distinction between point a million and point 2 different than for the size. that is greater low fee to get point 2, yet provided that your toddler will consume all of it interior 3 days (no preservatives so it would not have that long of a life expectancy). What I did with the meats grow to be wait till my son knew a thank you to chew incredibly properly and gave him favourite meat. He has 4 tooth interior the front and eats meat like a champ, so purely use your judgement. you recognize your toddler best.

My daughter who is now almost 13 months has been getting meat and regular table food since she was around 7 months. She refused to eat baby! She didn't want anything to do with it! She also got her teeth early she is currently working on teeth 10,11, and 12!

You might want to mix in stage 2 foods with her other food. If she does fine with 'chewing and swallowing' add more 2 foods and less of the food she is on now. You can give her meats now in baby food. They do sell it. But let me warn you, your babies bowl movements are going to be real stinky when she starts meats!! :)

if you have tried all of the above foods, then I would go a head with the meat. I have 2 sons and it was okay to go with meats at 7 months according to the drs.. the second is very ill and teh nutrisionist, and gi doc said meats were okay... good luck! the only meat my little one likes is chicken
