Psychology and journalism have a lot in common -- in addition to working with weird people . Have you considered employment in university psychology research departments that need help writing/publishing their work? Perhaps a career move to public relations within the psychology community would be a possibility, too. Even moving to a larger publication where you could report on issues of human needs, counseling, pharmaceuticals, etc. If your degree is in psychology, you've got LOTS of experience with designing research models and interpreting and reporting statistical findings. Research is important in almost any area -- even media studies. You might even consider a position as a media consultant where your psychology skills could be used with your journalism experience. Good luck!

THIS is exactly why i counsel every one, especially my children, get a degree in a field where you can make a good living, then do what you want if you dont like being rich.. You have chosen a career that, since it is no longer illegal to be crazy, and very few people are being institutionalized, there is no demand for you. Alternately liberal journalism would make anyone crazy, so at least you need your services!! hahaha.

My degree is in journalism although I'm about to go into full-time ministry. The ability to write has been one of the best skills I've developed, and I can use it no matter what occupation I'm in. Until you can find another job, I'd suggest doing all you can to develop your writing skills. It'll pay off huge dividends in the end.

I can't believe you... Sorry, but a person with a degree and working in journalism would not make the grammatical, spelling, typing, and punctuation errors that you have amassed in that very short question.
