That's why you don't tell anyone you won the lottery. You can say you are into investing. And if you won the lottery, you better learn something about finance and the markets or you are going to get ****** by someone. You can also pass yourself off as a consultant for the government or corporations, but say you are under a non-disclosure contract and let their imaginations do the rest.

Who'd care?
Actually, when *I* win the lottery, I probably won't buy a huge home in a rich neighborhood. I'll probably get a nice condo in the downtown area of a city, so that I can walk to the symphony, the theater, the ballet and the museums.
Then I'll spend my days in school. I'll take exactly the classes I want to, and never worry about a degree (but my GPA will matter!) I'll learn math and physics first, then see where my curiosity takes me. I'll live fairly modestly, though, but I'll have one hell of a kitchen! And a fantastic library.Oh, and a smoking computer!
I know exactly what I want, and it just isn't all that fancy.

If I were to win the lottery, I would stay in the place I am in now, but it would go through a major over haul, (It's getting old, and in need of repair). The neighbourhood is one that has a sense of a small town community. It has some of the best park areas you can imagine, and the houses have character, (they are not "mc houses", each one is unique). To quote some lyrics... "You can build a house, but you can't build a home".

Depends,
but I would go out of my way to avoid them, and exclude them from any future opportunities for business.
Besides, I likely wouldnt buy a house in a neighborhood, but build a house in its own area....extra acerage too boot.

i'm not sure, i won a lottery and gained over 4 million, but later was convicted of raping and killing 27 minors. fortunately with my cash i was able to influence my sentence and got out in 5 years. i think everyone in my neighborhood knows what happened and i expect that is why they act strangely around me, but who knows.

if i ever won the lottery i couldn't care less whether people would accept me or not...Besides, acceptance cannot be obtained with money. You do not estimate a person's value with money...Whoever does this, is a fool...

It strictly depends on you as the new neighbor and how politely you respect the neighborhood's established customs and standards.
