who has a better life a person that listens to classic rock, heavymetal or a person that listens to rap and hip hop?
think of the surrounding a person would have, or benefits for listening to that kind of music.

some heavy metal is actually very intelligent where as most rap and hip hop are not....
so although I am not a fan of either I would say the metal kid has a better chance of gowing up and being somebody.. where as the rap kid has a better chance of being killed or being a nobody (er.. or a criminal)

its not the music that makes the person its how they are raised. I listen to both rock and rap and I turned out fine.

rock and metal. rap and hip hop completely blows and so do the people that listen to it.

Classic rock. We've all been there and done that.(I mean all the stuff that classic rock is about) We grew up in the big drug era, the peace and love thing.

anything classic, or 80s and 90s. everything seemed to be genuine then.it had suprises and emotion. music today ( well not ALL of it) just seems to be so predictable, boring.and the "fast food" of music. ESPECIALLY rap and pop.

Neither. They are all as dead-as-a-door-nail. Show-biz and $ have won out over music 99.99% of the time.
