Why are there so many people out there with no sense of humor?

I truely feel bad for those who can't laugh. Do you just put up with their monotone unresponsive disposition at work or in social settings or do you try to let them experience a modicrum of laughter?

I am very put off by people who lack a sense of humor. I am all about being funny. So when I say something funny and someone stares at me.. I kind of want to like flick them in the head, just to see if they're human.

But seriously, they really scare me.

Different people, different sense of humor. What you might think is funny may not be to someone else. If you tell a joke starting with "The pope, gandi, and tammy faye baker walked in a bar..." Doesn't matter what the rest is, but if someone who was one of their followers wouldn't think it was funny from the beginning. Tell those same people a joke starting with "The devil, the snuggle fabric softner bear, and Michael jackson walk in a bar..." They might laugh at that one.

I like your way of thinking. Here's one for most of todays world...
"If I have offened you today, I have succeeded!" People need to lighten up now days. Making fun of people is humois and good for your mental state of being. Lighten up is what the world needs to do.

in this day and age(what a cliche!), we have so much to do that we forget to stop and smell the jasmine( roses are o.k.). however we who have humor in them will prevail!! who said God has no sense of humor? why else did a carnivore offer a fruit to us?
