For anyone out there who is a twin:
What is the stupidest question you've been asked? (one time this kid asked me if my sister and I could tell each other apart)
Does it annoy you when you get called your twins name? (I've just gotten used to responding when I hear either name)
Do you wish you didn't have a twin? (Eh)
Do you fall into the sterotypes of twins, like playing games with people? (My sister and I never had to, people can't tell us apart as it is)
Do you think that people are crazy if they can't tell you apart? (I'm sure that every twin will think that)
Do you have a hard time telling other twins apart? (I normally don't have a problem with it)
Does it make you feel special? (I just feel awkward)
How many other sets of twins do you know? (There were 4 in my class, and I know about 10 sets)

That is all... thank you.

Hi.....I have a bit of a different take on your Twin questions.

My Mother lost my twin at around 5 months of being pregnant. I was born in 1961 so it was alot different back then. No one "checked" to see if my twin was a boy or a girl.

I myself lost a set of twins 13 years ago. I was early into my pregnancy and was having alot of trouble carrying them. It was determined, after having several tests in the hospital, that two heartbeats were heard. Not long after is when I miscarried them.

I divorced my twins' Father a couple years after we lost them. The man that I am with now (and have been for several years) is an Identical Twin. Sometimes I can tell him apart from his brother, but if they are dressed alike (only on purpose and for laughs) and don't say anything, just sit there looking at me, then honestly I'm a bit lost. They seem to get along fabulously and love each other more than they can say. They even work at the same job together. I've asked both of them, on separate ocassions and not in front of each other, if it annoys them to be called by the other twin's name and they both answered "no, it doesn't bother them". I'm not really sure if they feel special or not being Identical Twin Brothers.

I myself have several sets of twins on both sides of my family (on my Mother's side and on my Father's side), so believe me, I do know alot of twins. I've always held a special place in my heart for twins (even before I was old enough to understand that I had had a twin).

Have a lovely rest of the evening.

I have a twin brother and I am female...

- The stupidest question I have ever been asked is "wow are you guys identical?" Um.. HELLO? Can you see?? DO you have eyes??? You can't be indentical twins if there is a boy AND a girl, that's called fraternal!
- Since my twin is a boy I have never been called his name.
- I also wish I didn't have a twin. My twin brother and I are exact opposites it's unbelievable.
- Again..since my twin is a male this question doesn't really apply.
- Same as above :(
- I hate being a twin. People will mention to someone else "oh she has a twin" and then they'll treat me like I'm someone special or give me awkward attention. Lame.
- two besides my brother and I.

1. Is it true that twins only have one-half of a brain each?

2. Naw, people mixed up our names all through school, but I don't recall ever being annoyed.

3. I have always been glad to have a twin. Growing up there was always someone to play with - we spent hundreds - or thousands - of hours competing in basketball, tennis, and ping-pong.

4. Naw, didn't play too many tricky games.

5. I can understand why people couldn't tell us apart - even my own mom still can't tell us apart on the phone. (and we are 43 years old!)

6. I have nephews who are identical twins and I can't really tell them apart.

7. Yea, i feel special - and lucky and blessed - to have a twin.

8. In school there was just one other set of idental twins. I don't know any now.

You should be so lucky to have a twin sister. It's like having your best friend as well as a mirror of yourself to play with. It's very hard to tell twins apart if they are identical. Maybe, you should switch places at times. Like one taking an exam for you. Guess you can fool your parents. It should make you feel special.;not awkward. Do you belong to other clubs of twins?

Im not a twin...but I dont think I have ever met twins that I couldnt tell apart. They are usually pretty different in personality and it comes out in how they dress or fix their hair.
