Yes, upgrade. It is out of the beta stage. It is now in Release Candidate 1. I have used it since it was in Beta 2, then upgraded to Beta 3, and now have upgraded to Internet Explorer RC 1. I haven't had any problems. It is much better and faster than IE 6. I have several browsers including Firefox, and IE 7 is better than IE 6 or Firefox. If you upgrade and don't like it all you have to do is go to Add or Remove Programs and remove it and you will automatically be reverted back to IE 6. You can have several browsers and use either one you want. If you want a second browser, I recommend Avant or Firefox, or both, with Firefox you can have Yahoo! Toolbar. I have tried most of the free browsers out there and in my opinion Internet Explorer 7 and Avant are at the top of the list, followed by Firefox. Avant Browser would be my favorite if I could use Yahoo! Toolbar with it. Avant is definately the fastest browser that I have tried. If I could only have one browser, it would be IE 7.

Yes you should get Internet Explorer 7. It's a lot faster than Internet Explorer 6. I have had it for a few months and it hasn't given me any problems. You can have more than one browser and use whichever one you want. If you want a second browser you might try Firefox. It's a good second browser, although I don't think it's as good as Internet Explorer 7, and for sure don't get Opera, it's a slow piece of crap.

Wait. Internet Explorer 7 is still in beta (release candidate, yeah another form of beta) and has security probs as of now. IE 6 is better compared to 7 right now. I suggest u to get latest Mozilla Firefox instead. It's cool, much faster and safer. Good Luck ! As for IE 6 and IE7, I suggest IE6 is better off as of now.

Personally, I would stop using Internet Explorer altogether and go with Firefox if I were you. I've been using Firefox for about a year now and wouldn't even dream about ever going back to Internet Explorer. Firefox is so much faster and safer. Don't upgrade to the new Internet Explorer and give Firefox a try. You might actually like it.

we just upgraded to ie7 and it's fine; supposedly it is NOT being hit with the virus that is hitting lower ie versions right as we speak. it is all a matter of taste, but it's not bothering me any; it changes your toolbars a bit but nothing that a person can't get used to pretty fast.

No, Stick with opera. It is officially the safest, and the fastest loading browser on earth.

Firefox all the way babe. Explorer is way slower and Microsoft is the whole "evil company" thing.

I'd wait until it's released.... stick with Opera or Firefox anyway.
