ants??..... ants?? U must have spilled a coke on your keys or something. I'd pop off my keys and clean it out with some of that spray from Office Depot (stuff cleans anything great!). Spray some Off on your hands and arms before going to work. Make sure of course that the laptop has no power before starting and take out the battery. Try your best to chase them out, not kill them because fried ants could probably cause fried laptop.

Ants? You mean like the little crawly animals? That's odd but I would suggest getting it straight to a landfill where it will be destroyed immediately. This will be at the cost of your laptop. If you're talking about ants as in viruses then I'm making a jackass of myself answering this.

put it in a ziplock bag or soething similar you can seal aietight, spray ant killer in there, byut not directly on the laptop, seal it up and leave it a couple days till all the ants are dead, get a can of compressed air, blow thru any air holes you can find to get rid of the dead ants. and then give it a try, should be OK, and don't spill anything sweet in it anymore

Get a broom or towel [not wet] and brush them off. Or put the laptop in a plastic bag and take as much air out of it as possible, leave the laptop in a dark room for a week.

Turn the laptop on and let the ants fry themselves. [haha, but please, don't do that unless you want a load of dead ants and a funky lappy].

Sprinkle some insecticide powder in the keyboard (liquid will damage it). Then wait a while before shaking it out along with the dead ants. Just sprinkle a little here and there, not a whole bunch.
