I've never heard a gay man lisp. That is a stereotype. There are people with lisps, that doesn't make them gay.

I have noticed this in some gay guys. I myself have no lisp. Thats how I swung staying in the closet so good. Because people like to identify others by stereotypes.

Gee, I never noticed. Perhaps, so other gays will know they are gay.
But, do not forget one of the best singers in our lifetime, Freddie Mercury----that guy could sing!!!
I have no problem with anyones sexual orientation as long as it is legal.........---not the child thing---. There are a lot of good people in this world. Gays should have civil unions to protect the assets they gained together. I am not gay but I have feelings for them.
I read the papers, I have friends who are. They are nice, courteous and sometimes funny.
I would vote for a gay entering politics if he or she believed in what I support.

Obviously, Jaredshouse, you have a knack for identifying gay men who have a lisp. But, unbeknownst to you, you're walking right by most gay men without a clue.

Silly boy. They don't all have lisps. You might be watching too many comedians who might imitate them. Too much TV.

Some "gayness" actually comes out when hanging out with other gay friends. The gay prissiness, the exaggerated "Oh my God, whatever!", the laugh and covering your mouth with your hand, how about when you see something you love and must buy you give out a blood curdling scream. Love it, and Living it.

Harvey Fierstein talks like Rupert Everett? Why do all heterosexual men speak the same way?
