I have been living in a great apt for 3 years. The landlords son moved into the 3rd floor a few months ago. His music while annoying doesnt bother me. I had some friends come over a few weeks ago and Curly was working on the house. A few weeks later I saw him and he asked me how my friendsw ere and asked specific questions about the conversation we were haing that he isnt involved in. SO two weeks later, I went oitside to smoke a cogarrete and out comes curly. He was drunk but so was I and he tells me how great our last conversation was - which he wasnt incolved in. SO tonight around 11pm. I hear this ****** calling out mu name outside the window and 5 minutes later banging on the door. I ignored it and shut off all the lights.
Will this prick stop banging on my door by my ignoring him r whould I tell him to f off? I know its mens health but my mental health is in jepardy!!!

Sounds like he's just trying to be friendly. Perhaps he thinks you are cool. Maybe you've got cool-looking friends and he wants to get into the mix. maybe he's a closet homo and thinks you might be too. Whichever, your lights-off thing was kind of blunt and I know I would think YOU were the dick; but, at least I'd have got the message. Any further prodding on his part would signal his intent to just f@*& with you. Or, he's a little slow. Either way, you could have been a little more tactful. Not everyone's as cool as you, remember.

Well, your neighbor has issues. I had a neighbor who was very similar. I ended up calling the cops on him EVERY TIME he started getting loud and obnoxious, which was sometimes several times in one night and was at the very least several times a week. Before I moved, I had the city assistant attorney involved and the mayor, but it never completely stopped. It did get a bit better though because he didn't want to lose his house. Expect that it wont end anytime soon, if ever.
