His appetite normally goes down right before he hibernates. In the past when he got ready to hibernate, he ate every 3-4 days but now he's not eating at all. He walks around okay, doesn't have watery eyes or a runny nose. Should I be worried?

naa don't be worry mine did the same thing but now she eats every 2 hours she eats then sleeps then gets up and eat again. i give her fresh romane lettuce, they love that so no runny nose or watery eyes its cool just let her sleep but poke her once in a while to make sure that she is alive i get fooled sometimes but FRESH ROMANE LETTUCE IS THE BEST the more the crunch the better

If it is loosing weight, don't let it hibernate.

You have to decide if you WANT to hibernate it or not. As the light cycles get shorter and temps drop, the tortoise will want to hibernate. If you do not plan on hibernating it, you'll need to provide light and heat to counteract this tendency.
