You cannot physically "gain" more RAM on your computer without actually buying a stick of RAM. You can, however, open your task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and end unneeded processes to free up the RAM that you do have on your computer so that other applications can use it. No. You have to physically install more.
If you have only 128 Mg bytes ram I would suggest you buy one 512 stick now and then you can add another 512 later if wanted. Can add same amount as you have as there are two slots. If you have 256 and add 256 you would have 512.Or you could buy one 512 stick now and another 512 later if needed.

No, RAM is the active memory in the cojmputer, you are just freeing storage by deleting programs.

You can free up RAM by ending tasks. This will allow other tasks to be ran instead.
You cannot gain more RAM without buying it because it is hardware.

No. You have to physically install more. Deleting files, programs, and folders will only free hard drive (your C: drive) space.

They don't take up memory unless they are running. If you can stop them running, you don't have to delete them.
