I see so many people wearing boots, but it's not even cold yet.

Nowadays, what's "official" anymore?! I'd say if it's appropriate to wear boots (weather-wise), wear 'em. Same with sandals: You wouldn't wear then when it's cold, raining, etc. etc. Similarly, don't wear boots when it's beach weather. Let common sense dictate (fashion) decisions.

Definitely autumn. Stores usually sell boots at that time. It's not too hot and not too cold so your legs feel good and you're comfy. Anyways, any girl looks good with a great skirt, a gorgeous pair of boots and a really nice jacket while being surrounded by beautiful red leaves ^____^ Kinda like in movies or catalouges ;)

Well in North America, boots usually begins during winter and spring.

i noticed around the end of august or early september because when i went to payless to buy these sandals i had seen before, they were gone and some boots as well as other closed toe shoes were on the racks. i live in san diego, so you never know what to wear, lol.

It looks so dumb, especially since I live in Southern California. Shorts and boots don't mix. So really it depends on where you live.
