Props on the Run Lola Run...when I was in college I rented it and we viewed it in the dorm lounge. Narrow minded people couldn't follow the simple story and kept shouting, "Take off your shirt!"

One that I love but a lot of people dislike is In America

Also:
Training Day(hard storyline to follow and people want more explosions)
The Princess and the Warrior
In the Heat of the Night

Billy Elliot!! My husband and I love it but I just finally got my Mom to watch it after I've been talking about it for two years. But she loved it...I just never hear people talking about it, and nobody seems to list it as a favorite movie! I always do.
