I am 19 and petite. People always say that I look like im 15! I am fashionable but just my height (5ft) and I guess my face makes me look young. I do wear makeup, natural colors. I go tanning. I do everything. ANY suggestions? THANKS YALL!

be glad for that. when you are 30, you will be thankful for looking like 22! :) i am having almost the same "problem". without make up i look at least 4 years younger. so i know what you are talking about.
but i would advice you not to over-do the whole make up and tanning part. if you use too much make up and you have that unnatural reddish-brown skin colour that comes with going to tanning studios, then you will look more like a clown than older. so stick to the way you've already chosen.

I'm about 5'8 and people think that I look younger than I am. I am enjoying this cause all the older people wish they could look younger and when I get old I will look young. (I am 20 and people think I am still in high school trying to be grown because I am mature. I do not act like a 20 year old, I act older. LOL! I dress fashionable too!) We are lucky!!!!

OK been there, what you wanna do is.
High heels are good but, no platforms nothing screems child like that.
Darken your eye make up. Opped for a slightly darker shade of lipstick. If you wear blush goa shade darker as well.
Try office casual dress occationally. Not to fancy but, this works.
fluff your hair up alittle more.
Dont tan to much because that can come of as to much time on your hands and must be really young. Have fun.

Well for one dont wear bangs that always makes someone look young it does me ....Dont go tanning girl get u some tanning lotion self tanner and put it on all ur doing is wrinkling ur skin....Wear more bold colors than natural like put on a lil more then u do....Wear heels to make u taller....BUt other than that just enjoy it while u can, cause when u get older ur going to be like man i wish i looked 19:)

I know how you feel. I'm almost 30 and sometimes people think I'm as young as 18! Once people get to know me, then they see I'm older and wiser and my real age shines through. I have to remember that if my looks on my outside look young, that's a GOOD thing, and I shouldn't be insulted. If we're 50 and still look like we're 30, we'll be blessed! Enjoy it while you can. Just let people get to know you, and then they'll see that you're truly 19 (older and wiser).

You can try a new hair style. Using more makeup won't make you look older. But for sure, you should nix the tanning; all it does is damage the skin.

well i don't know maybe wear some color makeup on your eyes but when u r older then u will like looker younger lol good luck and maybe u can go to a makeup artist and ask how to make yourself look a litter older

Be glad you look younger than you are. I always had that problem and still do sometimes. At my age, I'm thankful for it! Stop the tanning, though. It'll ruin your skin. Enjoy the benefits, my dear and live it up.

I believe if you keep your eyebrows nice and clean and at a thinner shape it makes you look a little older....also the way you speak has a big deal to do with it....not you in general...people in general that it.
