Reliability and expected longevity. A reliable car is no use to me if it's only reliable while the waranty is in effect.

Honda, Nissan, Toyota and Saturn's last for a looooong time and are very reliable but are more expensive!!
and always look for long term value!!
A Ford Focus in 2 years will definitely drop really low in value!!
