I would try very hard to smile and say everyone has the right to their opinion .

I refuse to even speak to arrogant people. However, if I have to deal with them for whatever reason, if they get out of control I roll my eyes and chuckle and look at them like they're a fool. Arrogant people hate to be laughed at or made fun of. They also hate to be ignored.

Depends. If they're respectable enough to me as a person (usually an acquaintance or a co-worker I'm thinking of right now), I'd let them know gently and use logic with them to let them know that some of the things they say or do is not cool. However, if it's someone I don't really care much for, I'll let them know in an arrogant fashion. Sometimes, you have to fight fire with fire.

Arrogant people generally are insecure and pathetic. I try to build them up by saying things like "I'm sure you know more about it than I do" -- then we have a good relationship and they go out of their way to be helpful to me.
It's a win-win: They get the validation they so desperately want and I get my way.

I just stay far away from them. I often wonder if they realize that alot of people ignore them. Or, do they think they are so special that they do not notice.

I just sort of arch an eyebrow and make them think they have a booger hanging off the end of their nose.
That'll bring them down a few notches!

OMG I wish I knew the answer that wouldn't drive me insane!!
Just TRY to smile and nod and be polite........but afterwards, you HAVE to go discuss the situation with your friends to where it can be laughed at, so it won't drive you nuts!!
