Was a health care proxy for my best friend, recieved a phone call one morning from the doctor, she stopped breathing on her own, put her on life support or let her go. She didn't want to be hooked up to a machine, so I had to say let her go. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do.

Produce an album. It was a year of pre-production work, a year in the studio, dealing with 6 strong egos. Negociating the contracts. Setting up both BMI and ASCAP administration arms, then marketing the finished product to magazines and radio, which netted us color coverage, large black and white shots, a photo op with KNAC-FM in Long Beach and we ended up getting international play including commercial stations, having another pressing done and now those old disks are selling on E bay for $30!
Wish I had a share of those resale rights! I was getting like 50 cent on the wholesale!
Now on working and trying to get first book published with help from a friend (who worked in another band I used to be assocaited with) whose got 12 out.
This will by my third attempt at a book. First one I only did a few submissions on, the next one I hit everyone and got no responce.
This one has been in frist right for almost a year and is now in editing and re-write. Then come polish and pitch.
PRobably another six months to a year on this one.

It's a toss up between watching my dad struggle with COPD for 15 years and losing him, or starting over after being a stay at home mom for 12 years. After 12 years of marriage my husband left me for his high school sweetheart. But on a high note, I enjoyed many wonderful years with my dad and he got to see his only grandchild. And now I have a wonderful man who loves me more than anything else in this world and is as committed to me as I am to him.

that's a hard question. perhaps that would be preparing my mother's funeral. it was very challenging. i was still in shock from her death. my dad was too distraught to prepare the funeral. he asked me to do whatever i thought was necessary for the service. that was a lot of pressure on me. i didn't want to let my dad down. i had to push all of my emotions aside, become a robot and plan the funeral. the day of the service, everything went smoothly. the only problem was, reality set in and i shut down. i only have a vague memory of that day. it was a very challenging period of my life. that was only the beginning.
