Recently I've been getting TV shows that I couldn't watch because they were on HBO or SHOWTIME and I don't have those channels. I also have been getting old movies that remind me of my childhood like:
Flight of the Navigator
D.A.R.Y.L
Dream a Little Dream
The Secret of N.I.M.H
Cloak & Dagger
Hope that gives you some ideas.

They have a great feature where you rate movies that you have seen, and then they give you a list of movies they recommend based on your rankings.

Also, there is a book called "The 1001 Movies You Have to See Before You Die." They republish it every year. It's a ton of help!

try something new, like foreign flicks. i'd stay away from korean flicks though, they can get a bit cheesy. hong kong action flicks are always entertaining.
