it sounds like you are describing crepitus that is seen and felt in osteoarthritis, the wear and tear type. one loses the cartilagenous cushion in between bones, that is the cause. Age, sports, obeisty, trauma can be some common causes, if symptoms persist or worsen, do see a doctor, good luck

Scar tissue inside the knee joint. you might have ripped something and did not know. Talk to a doc.

I always think it's hilarious when I hear it, although I rarely laugh on the outside. It's the same phenomenon as cracking your finger knuckles. Gas release.

i get the same thing.. its not loud, i have to listen for it.. but yea and i can feel it when i put my hand on my kneecap and bend it.. it doesnt hurt or anything but im sure itll get me at a later date

Damaged cartilage. If it causes a lot of pain, surgery may be in order, but if no pain, don't worry about it.

sounds like you lost some cartilage there. you need a consult with an orthopedist.

sounds like you have some loose cartelidge in there, I would have a doctor do an x-ray to make sure.
