Sure it can! Remember that most people don't remember gossip for more than a few days. There is always a NEW story to take the place of the one about YOU.

It's like bad credit: eventually, if you just act differently, the recent history will overshadow the old history.

Every day is a new day to become the YOU that you really want to be. It's true!

Try this: Be confident in your image and your sexuality. It's amazing to me how much difference there can be between the Slutty Chic and the Headstrong Assertive Dangerous Chic.

You Know?

If you are slutty because you let people take advantage of you, that's what you will feel like for a long time. If you pick and choose and don't ever apologize or regret anything because you did what you wanted, on your own terms, the slutty thing will go away. Also depends on how old you are. If you earned this badge as a teen, you just need to wait a bit till everyone grows up a bit and puts it into perspective.

Good Luck, and look people confidently in the eye!

If Mary Magdalen could do it so can anyone. But the problem is that you want others to see you as a different person but this is out of your control. All is not lost though, measure yourself by your own ruler not that of others. Purity is gained by behaving in ways which are opposite to the other behavior. How about not having a relationship with anyone....for a long while, and during that time you focus on helping the homeless, seniors, the disabled etc. If you go out always go with a group and always be the first to leave. Don`t go to places where just by your presence people may perceive you to have loose morals. Be willing to admit that you used to behave in a different way in the past, you can`t change that, but that was then. Only you can change your actions...only they can change their oppinions. Some will others will not. That is the sad reality of human nature.

Yes, but it takes time. Dress conservatively. Act like you're not slutty.

No beacause reputaion is a subjective thing and is dependednt on other opinion. Though one can change a slutty image of herself by not indulging in behaviours that are considered slutty

Yes. Work hard, and eliminate your past life. By soon, people will not be able to identify you with the person they once knew.
