He is way beyond crazy. He has lost respect all over the world.
If nothing else proves he is crazy, his loss of business at Citgo will cost him millions. My friends, & aquitances will never by at Citgo again. You do not go to anyone's house & insult them &
their house. Calling Bush the Devil is the least of what he said.

NO, he is not at all crazy but USA HATERED could probably be a leading issue in venezuelan politics . If he or USA were hatered of each other then USA must not be the leading buyer of venezuelan oil and venezuela would not sold him.

He's certainly in the majority. Most people around the world would agree that Bush is the Devil....and most nations around the world feel they must consider their own nuclear weapons of mass destruction as their only defense against the bully Bush and the world's newest 'evil empire' - the United States of America. George Bush, Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld are evil, corrupt, incompetent sub-humans who can't even comprehend the damage they've inflicted on this world and our country. They should all be tried for treason and high crimes against humanity, and - if convicted - must face a public firing squad, along with all 535 members of the most corrupt, evil, incompetent, arrogant, U.S. Congress in American history. -RKO-

He is a nut and a communist. He has a lot of money from all the oil he has. It is ironic that America is financing its own enemies by refusing to drill for oil in the US. Our problems can be linked to oil: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Venezuela. Iran, North Korea, Syria, etc. do a lot of business with the Chinese. The Chinese are abedding our enemies. We have allowed our manufacturing to leave here and go there because of our crippling tax system and the guaranteed union deals, which have destroyed the auto industry and manufacturing businesses.
Chavez is irrelevant in the world. He can have his meetings with all the hate America crowd.

Here's the thing: I don't really know if he is one or the other. The problem is NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE ON HERE DON'T EITHER. People will say others are crazy or enemies of freedom because they don't like or disagree with bush. The reason they don't like us or bush is because OF OUR POLICIES. We become hypocrites. We force other countries into the old parental saying, "do as I say, NOT as I do..." When that happens, other countries get mad at us.

Hugo has a "big man" complex and an ego he needs to feed.
He is an idiot more than he is crazy. He will get what he deserves in due time.
He should focus on the large number of poverty-stricken people in his own country before looking to conquer South America.

He is a caudillo.
In office he ended the privatization of Venezuela's state holdings, put himself in control of economic matters, and cut oil production to raise oil prices. A constituent assembly mainly made up of his supporters wrote a new constitution that granted the president increased powers and a longer possible term of office and weakened the legislature and judiciary.

Like with George Galloway, you don't have to like him to see that what he said struck a chord amongst probably most of the world.
Well said, -RKO-
I think it's unbelievable that there are still people who are fans of Bush's foreign policy, taking as as one highlight the increased prevailance of torture in Iraq now compared to under Saddam, not to mention the situation in Afghanistan that some of us were lead to assume was somehow sorted out long ago.
Some of the US posters on here just really really don't get how the rest of the world see it differently to them. Maybe it's like a matter of empathy I guess people are just ingrained with different mindsets.
