First you must get the golden shovel by burying a regular shovel with another shovel and waiting a week or more, then dig up the shovel and will be golden. Then you must bury any desired amount of money with the golden shovel. It is pretty difficult and you need a lot of luck for a money tree to grow, but the more money you bury the better chance you have of a money tree growing, and the money tree will produce twice the amount of bells you buried. It might take a while but you have to keep trying.

u get a money bag, then you get a shovel, bury the money bag, and then wait, then sonner or later, the tree will grow and money will come out. it is a good cheat. when you want the money shake the tree like an apple tree. then it will fall out. happy hunting.

I'm not sure if it is like the GameCube version or not, but if you find a gold, shiny spot in the ground, dig it up. You will get a 1000 bell bag. Bury the bag back into the hole, and keep track of where you buried it. Over time it will grow.
