my cellphone fellin the toilet and as soon as it fell i took it out and somebody told me that as soon as u do this u are to take the battery otu which i did.later i put it in and the phone comes on fine but the buttons on the keypad arent working. anybody got any suggestions on how to get my phone back working

Get insurance, wait a week, turn it in. If your phone is completely dry and is doing that, it is pretty much toast. Good luck with your potty phone...

You will have to get a new phone--hopefully you have insurance --as soon a tech looks at the problem he will pull the battery out and look for a small patch of litmus paper which instead of white will be pink. He wil hand you a number for an insurance company that I hope you subscribed to.

umm.. deary, its time to get a new phone... unless you have a phone where you can take the face off of it and put a new keypad on there , cuz some of the old nokia phones have that.. unless your phone is different.. but otherwise wait and let it dry out for a couple more days and then try to see if it works.. good luck.

You might want to try using a hair dryer on the cellphone to dry the keypad, and curcuits underneath, if that doesnt work, might have to get another phone!

Blow dry it right away. Don't put the battery on until 24-48 hours later. I work for a cell phone store for the past 5 years...trust me, works every time.

Sorry, dude. Your phone got wet--that's never good. If it has dried completely and it is still not working, there just isn't much you can do. Perhaps next time you should step away from the toilet before making that important call.

Try to charge your phone for a while and see what happens. Once my phone got wet in the rain and my uncle charged the phone and it started working fine.

sorry can help much coz you don't give enough info about you phone but usually a cellphone cannot working anymore after felt in the water.

if it would not activate.... take a hair dryer and take out the battery and attempt 2 dry it. if whilst u take out the battery u see a pink circle, then it ability the telephone is broken. if it nevertheless would not artwork take it 2 a retail shop that sells a similar kind

ummm..lick all the toilet water off then rub dish detergent on it! thenn turn it off and put it on the bottom of ur pets foot for 24 hrs. then it will work againn...
by the way, hope u had insureance on the fone..
--what kind of fone was it?? im curious
