The smallest ( 0.2 inches/5mm) is an irregular bone called the stirrup. It is shaped like a horse rider's stirrup and is located inside the ear to help us hear sounds. They are in both ears. No ear has a diffrent in size than the other or else you must have a problem in it.

The smallest bone in the human body is the stirrup (also called the stapes). There are two of them, one in each ear... It is found in the middle ear to be more specific, and it's purpose is to help transmit sound vibrations to the inner ear, where sound is interpretted by your brain.
Fun fact: The stirrup is not only the smallest bone in your body, but also the lightest!
Hope this helped :).
