I rather enjoy the feeling of detoxification, but my cheeks get chapped.

It is not an either or question.... for many cancer survivors and patients diarrhea and or sudden need to go is a side effect they have to learn to live with... baby diapers make a good insurance policy and ease the cleanup... I would not call it suffering just an annoying nusance that is not life threatening...ergo just live with it.
