Globular pink flowerheads on slender pedicells. Deltate or ovate leaves, to 3 cm. long and 2 cm. wide. Leaves and stems pubescent.
Upper surface of leaves dark green with inverted 'V' shaped splodge in dark burgandy.

Lipia (common name). Nodiflora (botanical name). I've got it growing here.

Sounds like it may be in the Persicaria family.
