I need to know how long it takes to get from Toronto to Montreal by train with prices($$$), too.

I wouldn't know about trains running regularly but I think they should. I digged up an example for you. To drive is about 9 hours. Train probably about 5 but it depends if it stops at all. I would look on the CN website for prices.

I just wanted to say that I took the train and is even longer that the bus, also a little bit more expensive. By bus is about 6 hrs.

Via Rail takes 4.5 to 5.5 hours depending on time of departure.
Fares are $125 to $200 depending on class.
