there are plenty of narcotics and non narcotics that can be used as alternates and can potentially be more effective, just tell your doctor the same thing, good luck

Allergic or just stomach upset? If it upsets your stomach vicodin is a better narcotic choice. If you're truly allergic to it you might have the same problem with any narcotic.
You might want to check out L-Tryptophan, it's a natural amino acid (an essential one as a matter of fact). It 's a natural pain killer and anti-depressant and it will help you sleep as well. You can buy it in capsules. It's kind of pricey, usually about $30 a bottle and I've only found it on-line never in stores. Below is a link to the best price I've seen for it.

Talk to your Dr, but I'm on Naproxen, which works well for me, Its like a super strength Ibuprofen, and its a common prescription med.

ultram i was on t-3's for years bothered my stomach now i take ultram and soma which is a muscle relaxer. the generic name for ultram is called tramadol. good luck
