I do not agree, nor does the American Lung Association. AIDS is positively NOT under control.

You need to read The HIV and Tuberculosis Fact Sheet by the American Lung Association, available on the internet. This states that 10 to15 million Americans have a latent TB infection but only 10 percent of these will develop the disease in their lifetime. However, if they have HIV, the likelihood of developing TB increases to 7-10 percent PER YEAR.

The other thing is that America is criticized for running the world, but yet when a country like Africa has an epidemic of AIDS, we're expected to pay for everything and derided for not doing enough. So which is it? Should we stay out of the world's affairs? Or should we help out countries? People need to make up their mind. We have spent millions on helping out over there. Not to mention the governments are so corrupt there that any money or help we send isn't even going to get to the people. It's ridiculous.

What does Clinton have to do with TB?

There are a lot of diseases that are killing people, TB isn't really top of the list anymore....you can be tested if you think you have been exposed and treated. The mortality rate for TB is DRASTICALLY lower in this day and age than it once was.

TB, Aids, Malnutrition, Herpes, all preventable diseases. The thing that kills the most is caused by unclean water. Perhaps we should look to that before anything else.

AIDs has practically destroyed the population of Africa. Every community in the US has AIDs carriers and people who have no idea that they are infected. Have you been tested?
