How do you make a link on Livejournal, to cut off, so someone can click the link, and the read rest?

You can either do (and I hope the html shows up here) and then a link will show up on the entry that says "Read More" after you're done with it. Then you end with when you don't want the text to be behind the link.

If you want your own words, do and when you're done, just a regular will do.
