Anyways! For a real answer...yeah you COULD get all of that stuff if you go to a tattoo parlor that doesn't give a damn about their customers! I've got 2 and I opened the packs that had my needles and all that stuff in! Tattoo parlors are safer now than they were in 1901 when that jackass was 50! Anywho your tattoo should be sentimental...something you're going to WANT to have when you're older! you'll want to put it also in a place that can EASILY be covered by a suit or skirt when you go in for a job interview! Some of their points were valid like the job situation but you know what just don't go to their company for a damn job, and the other points were well...STUPID! Tattoos can also be coverd with special make up! So to answer your question...get WHATEVER YOU WANT but in a place that can be easily covered and the tattoo should have some kind of sentimental value. I know mine do! Hope this helps...have fun!

One that has meaning for you and that you would be proud of 20 years from now. Seriously. I saw a wedding where the bridesmaids had strapless dresses. One member of the party had tattoos across her back over her shoulder and up her neck. I can't imagine what the bride will think when she pulls out the wedding pictures in the future to show her children. And another thing ladies, what is the deal with a tattoo in the small of your back? You can't see it. If it is a visual for a partner you wasted your money. Our eyes become blind when we experience extreme pleasure.

If you get a tattoo, get one that means something to you that you will NEVER regret. Remember that you are making a long term commitment and just because a gecko looks cool now doesn't mean it will be as cool in 20 years.

Get something that is really meaningful to you. For example my dad died and I'm thinking of getting the words "beloved daughter" in Hebrew because it would represent how I see myself as God's daughter. Another friend of mine loves singing and so she got "musician" in Chinese. DON'T get a tattoo just for the sake of getting one, remember it is permanent so you don't want something that you're just going to get sick of. Get something meaningful or you will regret it.

Edit: Syphilis and Gonorrhea are NOT spread through the blood, only through sexual contact. Just make sure you watch the tattoo artist take the brand-new needle out of the sterile package and you won't get HIV or Hepatitis. Don't listen to the paranoid people who tell you you're going to die every time you see blood.

You should get something that you love, at a place where you know that the instruments are properly cleaned and hte tatoo should be in an easily covered spot. As long as it is small and in a place that can be hidden wiht clohtes you should be in better shape! Just make sure that you really want to do this to your body!

Get something that you will be able to live with for the rest of your life...be able to cover it up when you have to...and never get a man's name unless it's your dad or son
I have a heart with a rose my girls picked out for me for mothers day...I also have a fairy under my belly button...I plan to get portraits of my girls..and my dad who past away last Halloween...
make sure that you go to a legal and well known parlor..I recommend Tiger Tattoo they are safe and did both of my tats.

If you have to get your ideas for tattoos from strangers then you should not get one. Wait until you come up with something yourself.

What kinds of things are you into? Religion? Get a cross... Sports? Image of your favorite teams logo or players number....Flowers?: Get a rose. Cartoons?: Get pooh or tigger. Cars/Trucks?: Get your favorite model....whatever you are into...go for it...just make sure 20 years from now, you won't regret it....

Get a small one of something symbolic that you value. Maybe in a place that is out of sight too ;-)

Good Luck :-)

I'm gonna repeat myself here...

Hi, my name is HIV and I'm here to introduce you to my friends, Hepatitis A, B and C! Not to mention Syphilis, Gonorrhea and a host of other blood-borne diseases!!!!
MMMMMM, we are the GIFTS THAT KEEP ON GIVING!!!
There's no guarantee that a needle is "clean" when you get a tattoo--salons are NOT FDA regulated, ya know!
And think of this...I'm the person who, when you are 30 and really really need the job that will pay the rent/mortgage, give you health coverage for your kids/family, and pay the car payment...I'm that person who WILL NOT HIRE YOU when I see the stupid-a** tat you got when you were....however old you are now.
