i probably would do it...in this day and age there are many ways to get back and see your family...planes, cars, etc....250 miles is only about a 4-5 hour drive...very do-able...so i would go for it! you only live once! take the chances you are offered

Honey If you have a chance to get a great job I would go for it. I'm sure they will be proud of you, after they get over the initial shock of you moving so far away. I don't think you should feel guilty at all. By the way Good luck with your new job. God Bless you for caring about your family. You sound like a very responsible person . Go for it my dear and don't let anyone try to influence to you do other wise. God be with you always.

Yes I would do it. And no I would not feel guilty. In fact, I've done it. Its your life. 250 miles is what....a 2 and a half hour drive, if that. Just be sure the job is a solid opportunity. Good Luck!

well if your family knows that you arent doin it because you hate them, and you keep in touch with them, then no i wouldn't feel guilty and yes i would do it probably. If you're doing it because you dont like your family holding you back, and not because you just want the job and life, then you should feel guilty. But its your life live it the way you want.

Only feel guilty if you move away and don't get a great job and don't make a lot of money.

You have every right to move. Your family needs to understand that you are a grown person and need to do what's best for you not what they want. You shoud definately move, just don't forget them or brag about it and stuff like that. Enjoy the start of a new life!

Think about it, do you think Christopher Columbus feels guilty, going the distance to find his calling? No.
Never second guess yourself because your first impulse is usually the correct one.. Hey, You only live once. Make the best of it.
Good Luck :)

No, and they shouldn't make you feel guilty. My older children live in another state, and they make more money than mom. But they do come home for christmas. Good luck.
