I'm getting married in February and wearing a strapless gown. I'm not into tanning or the sun, but just happened to stay outside too long wearing a bikini top. Sigh.

Wear cotton clothes properly covered. Take Vitamin E tablets and apply Vitamin E cream on the spots u mentioned.
Also eat a lot of vitamin E fruits/food which is a natural source.

About how long I do not know it depends on your body condition. u can start taking precaution right now.

By February, you should be fine. If you think it might still be a problem, try some of those new body creams that tan gradually to even out the lines.

Yeah, use a tanning lotion later or a tanning salon NOW. Don't go tanning just before the wedding.

I would also exfoliate your whole body with an exfoliating shower gel and lotion about twice a week.
