Making my tree house, riding my bike with my friends. Mom baking things in the kitchen. Hearing her voice calling me in for supper.
Having outdoor cook outs by the bonfire.
County Fair . Planting gardens with my Mom
I miss her.

I liked when it would rain out our plans to go somewhere, thus we'd just stay home and sleep, especially in the winter. Those are among my fondest memories.

I remember playing in the sprinkler and we made a homemade slip and slide. it was very hot and we ate ice cream on the curb. Later that night we would catch lightening bugs ( sigh ) Lord just give me 10 minutes of that back!

Making my little brother play Barbies with me, getting push-ups from the ice cream truck in the summer, playing in the wading pool in our yard...too bad ya can't go back just one more time...

My mom made a life-size rag doll for me - I was three or four, and the doll was as tall as me - she had red yarn for hair, and a blue and white checked jumper...Her name was Sissy - I took that doll everywhere.

it was summer and mom was driving us to the pool in our new (then) MGB... the top was down, the sun was shiny, and wings ("what the man said") was on the radio...
good times.
