properly the Motif would be trouble-free any direct field will do. i want to advise any energetic direct field (IE. makes use of phantom means or battery) as they are able to have the final sound high quality. this might convert the tool plug to a mic plug. My own in demand is something with the aid of Radial they seem to be a sprint high priced yet no longer loopy high priced and that they sound magnificent. What is going is in comes out unchanged. Now the turntables will want some variety of preamp to bump up the sign to +4 dBv out of your turntable's -10dBu. you are able to visit any song save and ask for a phono preamp which will do the pastime. i understand Radial makes a variety of too yet i've got on no account used one so i'm no longer able to assert how they sound, yet judging from their different products i might say it in all probability sounds damn stable. back there are greater inexpensive equivalents so which you do no longer ought to drop alot of money yet you extremely want to choose for an energetic direct field no longer passive.
