Liquid eyeliner is the only one I've ever used that totally doesn't smudge; but you need a pretty steady hand. Almay doesn't smudge too much. Darker colors will always smudge more. Oh, and if you put a little foundation on your eyelids, that helps anything you put on last longer and better. You can also "set" eye liner by using a little shadow over it. ^_^

Sephora carries a line called Forever Make-up (which is used by many actors and actresses on Broadway in NY) and they have water proof pencil eyeliners which work great. Also, if there is a particular liner that you already use but it smears buy She Laq by Benefits (also, sold at Sephora). It comes in a bottle that resembles a nail polish, apply any liner of your choice then with the applicator apply a thin layer of the She Laq over the liner. Let me tell you the liner comes off until you want to take it off.

I have very oily skin and so liners would smudge even before noon. Through many trial and errors and the consultants at Sephora I have found make-up that lasts and make me feel confident enough knowing that I am not walking around with raccoon eyes.

I tried pencil eyeliner and that would always smudge so I switched to liquid eyeliner and it works great..I'm going to try the waterproof kind next because I'm hoping that will be even better. My suggestion: liquid eyeliner ..I also put extra cover up powder underneath

Liquids give you a sharp, long lasting line. After it's dry, try going over the line with a dark shadow and it will soften the line. Godloveya!

Yes, Cover Girl is best. Don't use liquid liner ... it's not flattering on anyone and looks very harsh.
