I bought a used car and was pulled over for speeding, when the officer ran the plates it came back for a Mercedes, I have a Galant, the sticker was correct, I showed the officer my reciept that had the plate number on them, when I went to court I was fined court fee and $40, I have taken time off work to correct the plates and go to court. Where can I find the law on this? The dealership will not even talk to me.

Get a lawyer and take legal action.

Did the dealership put the plates on the car or did you? In our state it's the owners responsibility to get the plates and put them on. If the dealer did, it's his and you can haul him into small claims court.
