Yes he does. So does Castro. After 9/11 Cuba was one of the first countries to offer America medical assistance.

Did yahoo even post a headline on Chavez calling Bush "the Devil"...I didn't notice one. Anyway, to think that Chavez does more for the American poor than Bush is something that even some of the biggest Bush bashing Democrats would have a hard time saying while keeping a straight face. And on the opinion of some that Bush is responsible for the tragedy in New Orleans, why again do so many want to remove all responsibility from the Mayor and other elected officials there??? As a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard I was in New Orleans for a little over a month after Katrina (also during Rita) and did not come across one individual that thought that Bush had let any of them suffer or die. The hurricane it self was the reason for all the death and suffering, not the President.

Chavez, helping the poor in America? If Bush is to blame for people being poor in The United States, then he must be responsible for EVERYTHING!!!!!! People have been poor since the beginning of bead and pelt swapping.
Bush didn't leave people to die in New Orleans. Their Governer, state officials, and especially their mayor McChocolate left those people on their own. Bush surely didn't do that. If those people had any brains, they would have know that three days before landfall, the authorities told them what it would be like. If they weren't so dependant on the government to do everything for them, they would have gotten out. If they had paid attention to the hurricanes two years ago that hit Florida, they might have learned that when the public safety officials say get out, then you damn sure as hell better get out.
If you like Hugo Chavez so freaking much, then move to his little turd world country and have a nice life. And if your think Bush is so stupid, and such a redneck cowboy, then how could he be smart enough to rig an election? If Chavez CAN'T be a dictator, because he is elected to office, then how can people of your ilk call Bush a dictator, as I have seen it many times on Y.A.?
How can you consider somebody who comes into our country and insults our President a nice guy. Its bad enough that we have former presidents running around all over the planet insulting our country. People like you have no respect or love of your country. You are a traitor.
If all that it takes is cheap oil to get you to switch your loyalty, then this country is in a deep pile of poop. And you ain't helping the problem. You are the problem.

First of all you have made 2 very big assumptions. The first assumption you made is that President Bush let people die in New Orleans. Do you believe every thing Jesse Jackson tells you. Fema was an unorganized bureaucracy. We had to get supplies to New Orleans by helicopter because we didn't know the state of roadways and airstrips. The second assumption you make is that the 2000 and 2004 elections were rigged. until you provide proof of these outrageous accusations i suggest you don't use them in your questions and arguments. Chavez runs a country with horrendous public health. his solution to his own problems is to criticize other country's.

Chavez does nothing without some ulterior motive. The man is a dictator and he would love nothing more than to make people believe he is an honest man.
I am certain Bush is no saint, not by a long shot - but he's not the Devil as Chavez says he is. No, in fact Chavez would be more like Satan himself.

In what world are you living? I am not Bush supporter, but there is no comparison. You've got to go down to Latin America and live there. Do you think that Venezuelans live in paradise.
Chavez is just building his image by sacking the reserves from Venezuela and giving support to groups like Hezholah and other terrrorists organizations. At least Bush is doing something and not sitting down waiting for the next bomb; you should be thankful that the world is a safer place.
Stop Bush bashing.

Chavez did more for Bush than Bush.
Chavez' rants silenced the Democrats and may just help to bolster both Bush in the polls and the GOP at the polls. If Chavez didn't get a payoff from the RNC with a script provided by Karl Rove in a "Wag the Dog" scenario I have to wonder if he knows his rants worked to help Bush and his party.

The American taxpayer, that George Bush represents, gives welfare checks, food stamps, discounted housing, and many other benefits to the poor if they are deserving. But the poor stay poor because when they are given these benefits they waste the welfare money on drugs and alcohol, they tear up the housing that is provided to them, they even sell the food stamps for drugs and alcohol. The reason these people are poor is that they are irresponsible. They squander every opportunity that is given to them to be successful. But to answer your question, our government has given the poor much much more, week after week, month after month for their entire lives.

A Black Mayor let people die in NO. Why did he buy fire trucks with the govt. money given for the leaves. Why did 'nt Dem. Gov. call for a disaster area need that to get Fed Help. Because of States rights the President needs to have a request for help. The stupid Gov.to proud or trying to cover up mis use of Fed.money in the past.
11,000 school buses got flooded out sitting in the parking lot when the could have been used to evacuate poor and disabled in advance. This was a State disaster due to corrupt State Mgt. and bad Mayor.

Bush let people die in New Orleans....really? It wasn't because the mayor (who wants his chocolate town back) let school buses sit empty when he could have evacuated the poor? Anyone who can't see what Chavez is doing with his little oil for the poor game is wearing blinders. The man is insignificant, knows it and has now decided to join with Cuba and Iran to try and bring us down. Why do you people think he did this? Because he's such a nice guy?

I like your name "brian liar" it suits you.
"Chavez is the elected president of his country"...just like Saddam was the elected pres. of Iraq...
47% of Venezuelans live below the UN world poverty level, and you are celebrating this guy sending a few thousand gallons of heating fuel to the USA? You do realize that he's just trying to lock down the contract and force out competition right? (like walmart... and you guys HATE wal mart...) He's not GIVING us anything! he's selling it!!!
But once again, we see how blind and ignorant hate of Bush has turned another American parrot into a "useful idiot".
