Bleach WILL kill mold but it has no efficacy. That means it only kills what it touches and it doesn't;t keep it from growing back.
In some bathrooms, it just always seems to stay wet. That allows the mold one of the two things it needs. Food and water. Food is plentiful and it is doubtful you will keep it from having it as it eats just about anything. The water seems hard since it is a shower but it usually is not.
Do you have cracks at the area where the tub meets the tub surround? If so, seal it with a MOLD resistant caulk.
ANother thing that sounds crazy but works like a champ is to dry the shower after use. I know that sounds nuts but MANY people do it. They take a shower, dry off, then dry off the shower walls. No water no mold.
Good luck with it.

Have you tried Mr. Clean Magic Sponge? I had good luck with that on some scum in my tub for which nothing else had ever worked.
