I'm 11 and my friends have been going out for a year now. I want a boyfriend too, but I'm kinda nervous, and nobody's available. Only one of my friends doesn't have a date yet, but she admitted her love to a guy, but he doesn't like her back. She tells me to tell my crush I like him, but he's on vacation, and I'm not sure what to say when he comes back. I'm not even sure if I REALLY like him, or if it's just puppy love. Any suggestions?

You should definitely wait. I had a boyfriend when I was in 5th grade, and a serious relationship when I was in 8th grade. I wasted 3-4 years heartbroken when I could have been spending all that energy into schoolwork. Don't do it! Believe me, I totally regret it. Spend your time being a kid. Trust me, I miss it~

Girl i was you once... i had a crush since third grade. he was hott and sweet and i loved him, Then after calling him every day till was in 6th grade when he asked me out and i was so excited and all i could think was that i was so happy my crush had asked me out we were perfect together, and all my Friends were so happy for me because I've liked him for so long. that summer when i turned 12 we went to the movies and he got me the most beautiful necklace and it was so romantic,i was so sure i loved him even more. Then right before school started 14 days after our 7 month anniversary he said we should be friends... i was heartbroken and i cryed the rest of the summer. it's been about a month and a half and still everything i look at makes me think of him and i still don't know why we broke up. so save the drama and just be friends with the boys and watch all of the other girls cry there eyes out while your talking to them on the phone

Just like the first poster said, your too young. Why not wait awhile and just hang with your friends? I'm sure you would have a better time enjoying the last of your childhood because it's almost over. Don't waste those moments left worrying about dates...etc

No too young, you have other things in your life that you need to concentrate on. Things such as school. I think dating should be the last thing on your mind at this point of time. Go and have fun now, but do it as friends, do not get into relationships so young. They are not always all that fun and what do your parents think about you wanting to date so young.

no, 11 (i think) is definately too young to start. even though other kids might be "going out" that doesn't mean it's right. seriously, who has a boyfriend/girlfriend when the're 11?!!
im a little older than you (a very little older) and all i hear about in school is "aren't going out with her?" and all that crap. it's so freaking annoying i want to kill everyone. WAY TOO YOUNG. it's stupid. it wouldn't even be like having a real boyfriend in my point of view. but if YOU really think you must....

well i think you are far to young to start dating guys...i would really just try to work on school and have girlfriends and do not be in such a big hurry to date guys and go through all that...i hope your mother will not let you date so young...i know i would not let my child date at 11 years old...just take one day at a time...life gets harder as you get older...you will date and have relationships with guys soon enough...

it is tow soon dire Ali, wait and think about it love should grow as you grow, you are a child yet and don't belong to the world of man and women , you can lose lots of joy if you hurry it is always like that. but you will love more if you wait for the right time

If you ask me, you should definetly wait for another guy, because someday you will find a guy that you realllly like. You also should not go out with him if you're not sure you reallllly like him.
