Tell her, do not spare the harsh words. Tell her how it is. Tell her that if she is really over him she would not be talking about him to much. Tell her you are not interested in hearing about it and that she needs to find someone else to talk to if she is going to keep talking about that,

Oh God, my best friend keeps moaning and griping about our ex-boyfriend (we had the same boyfriend). I have a suspicion she's not over him but I know she'll deny it if I bring it up. For me, I'm just keeping it silent and not worrying about it. But whatever you feel like you should do...
