nope, i work in many restaurants and found out the real deal......yes we always sanitized the dishes....but never had they cleaned the menus and tabletop menues that show different desserts....also, ketchup bottles were always refilled and never washed, salt and pepper shakers where never washed. Those things take too long and were just too much of a hassle to clean each and every time a new person sat at a table. Imagine constantly running salt and pepper shakers through a dishwasher? you would have to have a huge stockpile of extra clean salt shakers to refill and place on clean tables. The things i mentioned are really the things that should be most payed attention to, being that most people really don't wash their hands like they should....restaurants should make waiters/waitresses wipe these items down with bleach or some other type of germ killer really.

Good God no. I would rather eat out of my filthy kitchen, at least I know where my hands have been.

It's pretty safe to assume that most everything in a restaurant is probably not that sanitary.

Yes, most people do assume that they are clean, after delivering coca-cola tanks to all the restaurants in town ( a few years ago) I know better.
Very few would of passed my standard, let alone the health inspector.

Yes I do. My immune system is pretty strong anyways. If I were to get sick from food in a restaurant, then other people would probably die from it. The business wouldn't last long if there was any problems.

No. I pretty much assume it isn't. I've been known to walk in, take one look around, and then walk right back out again.

Having worked in restaurants in the past, I know that in general it's probably okay.... otherwise you REALLY don't want to know! And if you get sick, you can sue!!
