how does the six pak carburation work on the mopars and should there be a slight hesitation when throttle is punched?

The six-pack...( 3 -- 2 barrel carburetors) is generally a progressive set-up. The engine runs on mostly the center 2 barrel and as the throttle is opened....the other 2 carburetors are gradually added in. Ideally, there should be no hesitation on acceleration. The links below might help.
