Shadowbane is another good free MMORPG. go check it out at www.shadowbane.com
I think you may be able to download the client from the website, if not I bought my copy for like a penny at EBGames, and the Throne of Oblivion expansion is really cheap as well (under 10 bucks)

Along with the other ones mentioned there is also www.tibia.com. There is a very small download but it takes up very little room and is well worth it!
