A home owners association charges monthly dues. Many people refuse to pay their due. Can the association post then names and the amount they owe on their bulletin board.

turn it over to a collection agency, yes you take a loss, but it more than you have now ... you will have to raise the dues to cover the loss, or, turn the association held contracts over to city managemanet and dissolve the HMA ... the city will drop the fees into their utility bill, and they will pay or service will be cut off. this is why most independent HMA's dont work, they have no real management clout, its all political and lawsuits ... lawyers love them cause they make the only money from them ... HMA's lose, the homeowner loses, the neighborhood generates animosity, and the lawyers make money from all concerned

that is considered a personal matter between the company and the client, they are not allowed to post it for public viewing. the most they can do is post it on a credit report or sue, but since this is a membership type org, most likely they will just cancel the membership and try to collect past dues.

No matter what anyone says, you run the risk of being sued no matter what! The McDonald's coffee suit proved that one. But legally speaking, you may not because its considered a confidential matter.
