It is true that more women give birth during a full moon than any other time. Just visit a local hospital during a full moon and you'll see the phenomenon for yourself. My wife and I have 5 children and 2 were born during a full moon. So what are the chances that this be the case for you?

I did... and the night I went into labor (12 days early), the hospital had triple the number of births that they normally did. I remember the nurses all saying... it's a full moon out tonight.

There are women giving birth all the time, all over the world...and the moon is not always full. So from a purely mathematical standpoint, no.

It supposedly has been proven that more women go into labor during a full moon due to the gravitational pull. But I couldn't tell what the moon was with both of mine.

No it would just be coincidense , but ask any nurse in the maternity ward and all will invariably say more children are born on days in which a full moon occurs .

no, it is slightly more likely but not a sure thing. It just depends on how ready the baby and your body is
