Samurai or Ninja?

Question

Whcich do you think would kick the most butt if they fought each other? Real ninjas in real life can't realy teleport and walk on walls though...and samurais have really strong swords

Samurais. They way of the Bushido is much more stressful than a shinobi. The ninjas would lose, but it would be a helluva fight!

i think you have to go with the Ninjas on this one simply because they kill without morals. Look, the samurais were like the mideveal Eastern version of the knights and cavaliers in the West, who were bound to the death by the strict code of honor and chivalry that they had to follow. They never do things unfairly. Ninjas don't go with this chivalry crap, so they were the assassins that killed using every means available (poison, backstabbing, long-range attacks, etc). Now, granted that the Samurais were better melee combatants than ninjas (just like a cavalier was a better fighter than a lowly assassin), but because of the ninjas' immoral techniques, they were able to re-act faster, and think quicker than the slower samurais (who were encumbered by their heavier body armors, anyway), and therefore kill a samurai three times over (by hitting at weakpoints and nerves) before the slower samurais even get a strike in. By the way, both samurais AND ninjas were found to use the same swords called "katanas" (even though samurais were able to wield this deadly weapon more often than ninjas because this was an almost-honorable blade that was also very expensive to obtain, and in most cases, only members of an elite class, like the royal samurais, would have this type of blade).

Hmmm - good question.

I think the samurai traditionally have fought with more moral and "honorable" constraints.

I think the Ninja have fought to win without constraint, and used secret and "unfair" weapons.

Maybe an even match - each would win around half the time.

samurai would win. In those ancient days, there were many more samuri, than ninja's.
I do think ninja's are cooler than samuri. Ninjas, however, were harder to come by...as they are a small group, selected and trained for particular activity.

Samurais are tough opponents but their rules hold them back. They don't assassinate people to survive. If a samurai fails in battle he is dishonored. If a ninja fails he is hunted down and killed if he isn't already dead.Ninjas rule unless they face me. I'd blow them all away with my gun-blade.

They have numcux and nija starz. Plus they can flip and do super strong kicks and hits.

I think that the samurai would lose in a heart beat.
