Impeachment is the way to go.....Impeach, impeach

Wrong on all fronts. What President Bush needs to do is make his base happy. About 33% of Americans always vote Republican and the same for Democrats. Pres Bush's approval ratings were below this for a while. He is very unpopular among Republicans. So is Congress, which has an approval rating for Republicans at 25%.

The problem with the President is:

1. He has refused to deal with illegals. No amnesty. Americans of all views are irate about this.
2. He has not vetoed the huge spending by Republicans. He is a big government Republican. Most core Republicans are so because they understand conservative economic policy. Taxes are too high, regulation is too burdensome. The President has not followed this.
3. He has refused to defend himself against the constant bashing by liberals and the media. Saddam had chemical weapons and used them on the Kurds. Yet, many Americans still feel (they clearly do not think) that there were no WMD's.

What President Bush needs to do is continue to lead. He has handled the war on terrorism well. He will go down as a great President if he pushes the following in the next 2 years

1. Shut off illegal immigration. No amnesty for illegals. This means if you are here illegally, you can never become a citizen. No more women having their babies here to get them citizenship.

2. Stop the wreckless spending. Veto spending bills.

3. Push VOLUNTARILY privitizing Social Security. I want to take care of my own retirement and am tired of paying 12% of my wages to this corrupt program. BTW, you pay 6% and your employer pays 6%. If Americans actually knew how much they pay in taxes, they would revolt.

4. Take the US out of the UN and kick them out of NYC. I am dreaming here, but this will eventually happen.

5. Tell moderate Republicans like Sen Chaffee, Collins, Snowe, etc. that they are not welcome in the party. We need strong conservative candidates in red states and we can kiss off these fools. They give Republicans a bad name.

Too many mistakes are being pinned on him for the people to just "forget" them. A lot of Americans know the tough decisions he had to make and they also know that by no means does the president run the country by himself, so they are the 35% who still approve.

I hate it while human beings take crap to surprisingly on right here. =/ Like this female responded this ladies question approximately stars(she did no longer understand what they have been for) and the female mentioned, "It defeats the full purpose while human beings ask for stars. technically, that's a reportable offense." All you're able to do is roll your eyes an TD. lol. ~Sara

Come Nov? Bush don't care about his popularity you dumbass, he's gonna get paid no matter what, and he'll never be up for re-election again. He has allowed the gas prices to drop though, I think simply in order to keep himself from being impeached!!!

Changing his cabinet and advisors would not change his problems. It is a question of policy, and throughout his entire administration Bush has not listened or at least heeded to contrary advice from any quarter, either from within his administration or his own party.

He needs a better speech writer & never ever adlib. He isn't gifted with a quick wit. He's no Winston Chrchill. Personally I wouldn't touch any of Clinton's people.

Unlike clinton Bush is not a president ruled by the polls. He is more convicted than Clinton and wont back down because his decision is unpopular. He really has the best interests of america at heart, and will propell himself towards that vision with all his might. BTW, all that polls reflect is the opinion of ppl who like to take polls.

He cannot admit that he made/makes (a) mistake(s). It is a character flaw, part of his ego-maniacal, my-way-or-the-highway, stupid attitudes/beliefs. Don't get me started....
